Seeds of Wisdom I

(Matthew 9:22) Jesus told a woman in need of healing, “Take heart daughter, your faith has healed you”, and the woman was healed from that moment. Dr. Young at the podiumWe too must take heart and know that our faith opens the way for healing.

Our faith in God is not only for our physical healing but to heal every hurt, bring to light every doubt and strengthen our purpose. Because we have faith in God we can believe in the very best for ourselves and others. Remember, “It’s a new season and a new day, a fresh anointing is coming your way, a season of change and prosperity is coming to you. For you are the righteousness of God.” So walk in unity with God.

Seeds of Wisdom II

It’s difficult to understand, but many people don’t prepare to meet God for various reasons:

A. There are several categories of people found in the ranks of the natural man.

  1. Some won’t be saved because they are neglecters.

1a. Hebrews 2:3 asks a great question of all who neglect, “How shall we escape if we aneglect so great salvation?”

1b. It has been said, “The road to Hell is paved with the stones of Procrastination.”?

   2. Some won’t be saved because they are rejecters.

1a. Many go about trying to establish their own righteousness and feel they are good enough to go to heaven as they are. (Romans 10:1-3)

1b. They reject Christ as the way to forgiveness and sins and will die still in the
 a natural or unsaved state.

   3. Some won’t be saved because they are mockers.

1a. Mockers despise and make light of the Bible’s plan for man’s salvation.

1b. The apostle Paul had mockers in a crowd to whom he was preaching (Acts 17:32)

   4. Some won’t be saved because they are pretenders.

1a. Pretenders are those who know they haven’t been saved, but continue to put on a “front” of Christianity before others.

1b. A pretender named Simon is found in Acts 8:9-23. He passed himself off before others as a great man of God, when in reality, he had never been converted.

B. The natural man does not have Christ as his Savior.

  1. The natural man has no spiritual life at all.

  2. He must be born again or he will never see heaven.
1a. II Corinthians 6:2 says, “Behold, now is the accepted time: behold, now is the day of salvation.

1b. The life of the natural man may end at any moment.

1c. It’s imperative that you receive this great salvation offered freely through Jesus Christ and without delay choose to trust Him as your Lord and Savior.

1d. In doing so, you’ll move from the category of the natural man into the category of the spiritual man and be ready to grow in this wonderful new life.

Praise the Lord! ~

Apostle Paul states in Philippians 4:4, “Rejoice”, this means praise God unceasingly. Whether we like it or not we are going to be confronted by negative situations in our life. The Lord has commanded us to give him thanks in everything. Therefore rejoicing should be our full time profession, regardless of life’s situations.

It is often most difficult to offer praise, worship and thanksgiving to God while we are in the midst of opposition. Just remember as praises go up, blessings come down. Praise also ushers in the presence of the Lord. The scripture tells us that in the presence of God is the fullness of joy.

Don’t be disturbed by circumstances. Just praise the Lord! I encourage you to get into a rejoicing mode and stay there. Jesus is worthy to be praised and honored for there is none like Him. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Good Morning World! ~

Get up in the morning with a smile on your face and show the world all the love in your heart. Do this and you will see that people will begin to treat you better. You will find out that you are as beautiful as you feel.

Thought for the day: My attitude will make this day prosperous. Meeting it head on, with love, will assure me of a lovely day.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble” (Psalms 46:1) ~

You have probably heard the statement, “Let go, let God” and it is easier to say than to do. Have you misplaced something, thinking it was lost and would spend time frantically looking for it? Well, you are not alone. I have learned that God really does know everything and Psalms 46:1 is true to every phase of my life. Now I am able to stay calm and tell whatever I think is lost to come forth in the name of Jesus. Then I find what I thought was lost.

To let go and let God in this way, removes anxiety and fear; then it prepares us to receive divine revelation. In turning something over to Jesus we must be attentive to what He may direct us to do in cooperation with Him. For example, when I call something forth in the name of Jesus, that thing does not float through the air to me. I am directed to where it is and I can then go and get it. Remember, we are never alone in any situation. Jesus is with us. Jesus works wonders through people and events as we let go and let God; wonderful things will happen.

Seeds of Wisdom VI

Psalms 96:6 (Amplified Version) states, “Honor and majesty are before Him; strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.” There are times when we need to find a quiet place to be alone with the Lord. In His presence there is strength and peace. No challenge or feeling of anxiety can enter into your time of sacred contemplation.

The best rest we can have is in the presence of the Lord, where we can let go of every negative feeling and thought. It is the negative things that sap our energy, leaving us in a vulnerable state. As we let go and let God take control, He will replenish our energy and strengthen us so that every thing we do or experience will be to the glory and honor of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

“….on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14 KJV) We must understand that it is not our responsibility to change other people. What they do and especially their thoughts are contingent upon their experiences. However, they have the opportunity to observe and learn about peace through what we show through our lives. As well-grounded, compassionate people who are capable of loving, listening, learning and growing both spiritually and naturally we can provide that positive example of peace. There is a song entitled, “Let There Be Peace on Earth and Let It Begin With Me”. This is our responsibility to ourselves and others.
